• Competitive standardized test scores, but preferably either the Graduate Record Examination (1100 verbal and quantitative portions only) or the Millers Analogies Test (minimum 60).

Doctoral Applicants

• Undergraduate GPA of 3.0
• Graduate GPA of 3.5
• Competitive standardized test scores, but preferably either the Graduate Record Examination (1100 verbal and quantitative portions only) or the Millers Analogies Test (minimum 60).

• Departmental application

• Three letters of recommendation

International Applicants

• Requirements for master's or doctoral applicants are the same as those stated above except that a TOEFL score of 550 should be substituted for the GRE or MAT.

Financial Aid

The Center for the Study of Higher Education offers a number of opportunities for financial aid. These include fellowships, internships, research assistantships with program faculty and tuition waivers. The funding of these opportunities varies from year to year. Assistantships which complement the student's coursework and provide financial assistance in the form of tuition waivers and stipends are available in several campus settings.
